专利说明:

It is important both from the point of view of convenience and safety for the user, but also from the point of view of production for the manufacturer, that the control unit for the door lock can be standardized for its shape and function and mounted in the same place in the door's inside panel. This means that different variants of door panels do not have to be used if an electric locking construction is used in the door or a mechanical one. This simplifies the manufacturing process and makes it more cost-effective. In addition, if substantially the same components can be used in the control unit itself for maneuvering and controlling both electrical and mechanical locking structures, additional cost advantages are achieved.
The fact that the same control unit is used and that the operating control for locking or unlocking the door lock is located in the same place in the control unit is also advantageous in that evacuation from the vehicle is also simplified, e.g. in a panic situation and especially if the visibility in the cab is limited by darkness or fire. In such crisis or panic situations, it has been shown that drivers try to open the door in the usual way and easily forget if the unlock control is located elsewhere on the inside of the door. It is therefore desirable that the vehicle can always be unlocked via the normal and familiar operating controls.
There are a large number of known solutions and designs of control units for operating door locks and for placement on the inside of a vehicle door. US20070126242 describes, for example, a construction comprising a housing which can accommodate various operating means for controlling the lock. The actuator that controls the vehicle's central locking can, for example, be deactivated so that an opening of the door lock is prevented. The different embodiments of the construction use the same lock housing and thus the same mounting space in the vehicle door. This invention is directed to the construction of the components of the vehicle door that perform the actual locking function in the door and not the control unit itself.
Other solutions of control units are shown, for example, in US2007 / - 0095633, US6657316, US2006 / 0175185 etc but none of them show a modular construction that makes it easy to change and adapt the control function in the control panel to electric or mechanical door locks.
The disadvantages of known solutions of control units are that they are not flexible enough and easy to adapt to different constructions of door locks and do not allow the same housing to be provided with different operating means in a simple manner. The prior art thus does not show any control unit which anticipates the present invention and which is sufficiently flexible in an efficient, functional and cost-effective manner.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The object of the invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems and to demonstrate a control unit which can control the door lock in a vehicle door, regardless of whether this is of a mechanical or electrical type.
A further object of the invention is that the control unit should be provided with an operating control which can be easily replaced and adapted to whether the door lock is of a mechanical or electrical type.
A further object of the invention is that the control lever should be placed in one and the same place in the control unit so that no new handles need to be learned by the driver to handle the door locking mechanism regardless of whether the door is equipped with a mechanical or electric door lock. A further object of the invention is that the control unit should be simple and functional in its construction and can easily be built into a vehicle without modifications to the vehicle's panel details.
A further object of the invention is that the control unit should be easy to adapt to the current locking construction of the door.
A further object of the invention is that the constituent parts should consist of as few parts as possible and be light and cheap to manufacture.
These and further objects and advantages are achieved according to the invention by means of a device defined by the features stated in the characterizing part of the independent claim claim 1.
Vehicle doors can thus either be equipped with mechanical or electric locking constructions where the locking function in both cases is operated, locked and / or unlocked, via an electrical impulse from the control unit located on the inside of the door. An electric locking structure is normally operated by means of an electric switch, often a button which mechanically acts on a switch, while a mechanical locking structure is usually operated by a control which transmits a mechanical movement to the locking structure in the vehicle door via drawbars or wires.
The invention is mainly achieved by arranging the operating control for generating an opening or locking impulse for the locking structure of the vehicle door at the same place in the control unit, regardless of whether a mechanical or electric lock is mounted in the vehicle door. The solution means that the housing of the control unit is arranged with a space in which either of at least two different modules can be exchanged so that the control unit is designed and prepared for two different functions, which is achieved by placing different modularly designed operating means in and used in the control unit, depending on the desired function.
This is achieved partly by the modules consisting of operating means / locking buttons, for example by an electric switch being arranged in the control unit and partly by recesses for a mechanical control control being arranged in the same part of the control unit at the same time. The switch is preferably placed on a circuit board arranged inside the control unit in such a position that it can be actuated by a tiltable, or against the action of a spring force, depressible button, for example made of plastic or the like. Alternatively, a rocker or rotatable actuator is arranged in the same space but comprises a shaft / lever which can be connected to an outer drawbar or wire which in turn is in mechanical connection with the mechanical lock of the door.
The circuit board / control unit suitably also contains switches and controls / buttons for controlling other functions in the vehicle such as window lifts, exterior rear-view mirrors, etc.
With an inventive and modular solution where the operating means for controlling electrical resp. mechanical locking structures placed in the same place in the control unit do not significantly affect either the components in the door that surround the control unit or the components that are arranged in the control unit itself. The choice is thus between mounting a simple button for operating an electric lock or a limited rotatable operating member for a mechanical lock. In the first case the control unit is connected via an electrical cable to the lock and in the second case the control unit is connected via a wire or drawbar to the mechanical door lock. The control unit and its internal components are the same and the control unit can also be rebuilt afterwards to the current locking construction.
The control unit is also provided with a wire casing stop arranged or integrated in the plastic next to the control unit housing and is provided with rafters or recesses in the upper edge of the housing, close but under the cover, which recesses serve as storage points for the control / rocker. Since a sealed circuit board is placed under all the control unit's switches, it does not matter that the groove / recess is present even if the control unit is only to be used for an electric door lock. The need for different types of cover plates in the control unit is avoided as no cavities must be covered.
The solution according to the invention also does not require any changes to the door's inside panel, which means that it will be easy and cheap to implement the new solution in the production line for new production of vehicles. The solution according to the invention also makes it possible to upgrade control units on already manufactured vehicles.
Further features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following, more detailed description of the invention, and from the accompanying drawings and other claims.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The invention is described in more detail below in some preferred embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 shows a principle sketch in perspective view of a common vehicle door provided with a control unit for controlling an electric door load, the door being shown without an inside panel for the sake of convenience. Figure 2 shows a control unit according to the invention provided with recesses for a mechanical operating device and a wire casing lock arranged next to the control unit but here provided with a button for controlling an electric door lock.
Figure 3 shows a control unit according to the invention with a mechanical operating device for controlling a mechanical door lock.
DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Figure 1 shows a principle sketch in perspective view of a common vehicle 1 with a door 2 provided with a control unit 3 for electrical control of a lock 4 arranged in the rear edge of the door 2. Door 2 is shown here without an inside panel for the sake of clarity. The control unit 3 comprises a plurality of controls or buttons 5 with which a driver can adjust the vehicle's side windows, exterior rear-view mirrors, etc. With an additional control, a lock button 6, the driver can control the door lock 4, up the door lock 4. An electric cable 7 transmits the pulse, ie sends an electrical pulse that locks or locks between the control unit 3 and the lock 4.
Figure 2 shows a control unit 3 according to the invention without obscuring surrounding door components and with an upper cover 8 disassembled. As mentioned above, the control unit 3 is provided with a number of operating elements 5,6, for example of square or rectangular shape and made of plastic, which during physical activation mechanically, via for example means 9 actuate switch 10 a circuit board 11 (only one shown with dashed line) mounted on (shown in broken lines) located inside the control unit housing 12 just below the controls 5,6. The side walls of the housing 12 are provided at their upper edges with recesses 13 and on one side of the housing 12 a wire casing lock 14 is arranged either mounted at the housing 12 or integrated with the housing 12.
In this exemplary embodiment, the control unit 3 is provided with a substantially flat and rectangular locking button 6 made of plastic and with which the electric lock of the door can be controlled. 10 15 20 25 30 35 The cover 8 is mostly a design detail and its main function is to protect the interior space of the control unit 3 so that dust and contaminants do not penetrate and affect or damage the function of the control unit 3.
Figure 3 shows the control unit 3 according to the invention provided with an operating member e.g. in the form of a locking button 16 with a tilting function for controlling a mechanical door lock. The locking button 16 replaces the pushbutton 6 in figure 2 and is to a limited extent rotatable or rotatable about an axis 17 forwards or backwards in the longitudinal direction of the control unit 3.
At one end side of the locking button 16, an arm 18 is arranged which extends through the side wall of the housing 12. The arm 18 is provided with an angular part, holding the locking button 16 and its shaft 17 and forms a lever with an angled part, which extends downwards in the forearm which amplifies the rotational movement of the locking button 16, a lever being formed which performs a pivoting movement . The pivoting movement amplifies the rotational movement of the rocker knob 16. The locking points 16 of the locking button are both located in the recesses 13 of the housing 12 and the attachment of the arm 18 acts as a leading point. A further hinge point 19 is arranged at the other end side of the locking button 16.
At the lower / outer end of the arm is arranged a wire bracket 20 in which a wire 21 can be mounted, for example by a clamping or snap device. By this arrangement, a mechanical rotational movement in the rocker knob 16 can generate an axial displacement of the wire 21 which in turn mechanically affects the mechanical lock of the vehicle door (not shown).
The wire casing lock 14 is intended to make it possible to easily mount, for example by pressing / snapping, a wire casing 22 and thereby to fix this in a certain position at the housing 12.
The description above is primarily intended to facilitate the understanding of the invention and is of course not limited to the stated embodiments, but also other variants of the invention are possible and conceivable within the scope of the inventive concept and the scope of subsequent claims.
